"Catch me in the X with OG at a Yankee Game.." Jigga performs "Empire State of Mind" at City Hall as part of the Yankees' Championship Parade Ceremony.
As promised, Shawn performed “Empire State Of Mind” with Bridgette Kelly at City Hall on Friday afternoon. Wasn’t this guy in Germany the night before at the EMAs rocking with Bono and them? Geesh, serious jet lag. Anywho, Congratulations to the NY Yankees. Now, as for those Knicks….

Lady GaGa made it to Germany after all... After hiding in London during the MTV EMA, Lady GaGa made an appearance on the German TV show “Wetten Dass...?” at Volkswagen Hall in Braunschweig on Saturday (November 7). The “Poker Face” songstress spent the evening chatting with the show’s host, Thomas Gottschalk, also taking the stage for a performance. Meanwhile, preparations continue for the upcoming Monster Ball tour, which kicks off on November 27 in Montreal and comes to a close in January at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. “Well, right now, they’re downtown in this warehouse designing and making everything for the tour,” GaGa said of her crew. “And they’re probably screaming at each other.” “They’re my best friends,” she added while chatting with MTV. “I’m not really sure what the world thinks ... but I do hear things like, ‘Who is the Haus of Gaga?’ and, ‘Are you putting out a fashion line?’ And no one gets it. It’s not a commodity. It’s not something that’s meant to be sold.” ( Lady GaGa: “Wetten Dass…?” Damsel )...and off you go! SOURCE |

M.I.A. working on next album MIA's new album is influenced by Animal Collective and US rapper Gucci Mane, according to producer Diplo. Diplo told Pedestrian.tv that he is one of a number of producers working on the album. He added that, along with Major Lazer partner Switch, he is set to finish off producing the album, having worked on four tracks so far. "[I've] been in the studio with MIA working on her new record," Diplo explained. "It's like Gucci Mane meets Animal Collective. I think there are a couple of people [producing] but we're going to finish it off, me and Switch. We've done like four tracks already." The new album will be the follow-up to MIA's 2007 album 'Kala'. Diplo added that he is set to launch a Major Lazer cartoon series on Adult Swim. source Current Music: Brand New - Gasoline | Powered by Last.fm |

Winona Ryder Covers BlackBook Magazine December 2009 Winona Ryder bites back on the December 2009 cover of BlackBook magazine. Here’s what the 38-year-old actress opened up about to BlackBook’s Nick Haramis: On Matt Damon and Johnny Depp: “Matt couldn’t be a greater, nicer guy. I’m really lucky that I’m on good terms with him. With Johnny, it’s like we’re good, but we lead very different lives… ” On her relationship with the press: “This weird thing happens when you’re written about in magazines, where you start to think, This is who I am. This is how I have to be. I felt restricted and pressured into being the way people perceived me. It was hard for me to find my footing. The Johnny thing made me really afraid of the press because, even though it was about him, I was beside him the entire time.” On Angelina Jolie, who won the 1999 Academy Award for best supporting actress for Girl, Interrupted (Winona starred in and produced the film): “I never had any bad feelings about Angelina. And I was hurt that people thought that. Everyone assumed I was really jealous because I thought this would be my vehicle. We said from the very beginning that the actress who played Lisa would probably win an Oscar, because it was the big, great, showy part. But I always related to Susanna… I fought very hard for [Angleina] to have that part, and I never really felt like I got the chance to know her.” On if Angelina ever personally thanked her for helping to jump-start her career: “I feel like it won’t read in print very nicely if I say that wasn’t really her style. But she seems to be a completely different person now.” ( Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice ) |

Morrissey abandons show after been smacked on head by crowd missile A shocked Morrissey brought the UK leg of his current tour to an abrupt halt in Liverpool tonight (November 7) when he walked offstage after a fan threw a drink at his head. The star said simply "good bye" at the Liverpool Echo Arena following the incident, exiting in the middle of his second song. He had started with The Smiths standard 'This Charming Man' and was in the middle of 'Black Cloud' when the incident happened. There are conflicting eye witness reports over whether it was a plastic cup or a bottle that struck. The show was stopped for around 15 minutes as the crowd chanted his name. A little time later a member of the crew announced that the singer had been hit on the head by a bottle and the concert would not continue. Fans jeered and booed at the news. The audience were told they would receive a full refund. The Manc legend is due to travel to Holland to continue European dates on Monday (November 9) in Nijmegen. There is no indication that the Dutch show will be effected by the Liverpool incident. It has been an eventful series of dates for Morrissey. He was hospitalised after collapsing onstage at the Swindon Oasis on October 25, the second night of the tour. It forced the postponement of a show in Bournemouth on October 26.

Steven Tyler Is Done With Aerosmith (Maybe)
That's what came out of Joe Perry's sessy mouth. Joe, who is starting to look like a hot dude version of Colleen Williams, told The Las Vegas Sun that Steven Tyler is hanging up his scarf indefinitely. Aerosmith recently got back from a show in Abu Dhabi, and as far as Joe Perry knows Steven Tyler isn't going to be shaking his bones on stage anymore. Joe said, “ Steven quit as far as I can tell. I don’t know anymore than you do about it. I got off the plane two nights ago. I saw online that Steven said that he was going to leave the band. I don’t know for how long, indefinitely or whatever. Other than that, I don’t know." Joe has tried calling Steven to get the real story, but dude isn't even trying to pick up the phone, “He’s notorious for that. That’s one thing I’ve learned to live with. I try to overlook it. I like to pick my battles. Frankly, the last few months I’ve been wanting not to rock the boat. I don’t want him canceling any more gigs. We really wanted to do these last four. We just kind of didn’t want to call him out or anything and get him anymore pissed off, for whatever reason. So we just let things lie. So we did the gigs and, like I said, I got off the plane and saw this online. That’s how I know about it.” If Steven has quit that bitch, Joe says they will bring in a replacement (SIT DOWN, Janice Dickinson) and the show will go on, "As far as replacing Steve, it’s not just about that, it’s also four guys that play extremely well together, and I’m not going to see that go to waste. I really don’t know what path it’s going to take at this point, but we’ll probably find somebody else that will sing in those spots where we need a singer and then we’ll be able to move the Aerosmith up a notch, move the vibe up a notch.” Steven Tyler performed at the launch party for the pyramids in Egypt, so it might be time for him to spend his days lying in his Golden Rest bed with a bag of caramel squares in his lap and Matlock on the tube. 'Scream 4' details revealed Horror supremo Kevin Williamson has revealed his plans for 'Scream 4'. The 'I Know What You Did Last Summer' writer plans to introduce enough new characters in the next film to last him through 'Scream 5' and 'Scream 6', which he also hopes to make. Kevin said: "The fourth one is an ensemble. It'll take place right now, 10 years later, and it's going to take place in character Sidney Prescott's hometown of Woodsboro. The film will star husband and wife team David Arquette and Courteney Cox, who have starred in the first three films in the series. "We'll have our three main characters, and we'll be introducing several more."Kevin, 44, said he has also included plenty of spoof-heavy material in the script. He explained: "I'll just have to be very aware of the fact that we're a '4' and that we're beating a dead dog. "I'm going to make that very apparent in the dialogue. Come on - it's the age of the remake!" The first 'Scream' film, written by Kevin and directed by Wes Craven, was released in 1996 and made stars of cast members Neve Campbell, Jamie Kennedy and Rose McGowan. Source |

Confirmation: Robbie and Take That Reform for one-off Robbie Williams will rejoin Take That on stage next week - 14 years after he quit the band. The singer will perform with his former bandmates for Children in Need at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday.Take That and Robbie are expected to top the bill for the one-off gig, which will also features performance by Snow Patrol, Lily Allen, Dizzee Rascal, Leona Lewis, Muse and Sir Paul McCartney. A source said: 'It's the gig where Robbie finally gets back with Take That. They're mates again and doing it for charity seems like the best way.' But fans will be desperate to blag a ticket for the sold-out show for their first performance together in more than a decade. The 35-year-old walked out of Take That at the height of their fame in 1995 after a rift with lead singer Gary Barlow. The group went on to release another single without him but split the following year. But their comeback as a foursome in 2006 has given the band even greater success. There have been rumours that Robbie plans to permanently rejoin the band, since ending the feud with Gary in recent years and calling him 'my new best friend'. Also adding fuel to the fire were reports that Mark Owen, 37, Gary Barlow, 38, Howard Donald, 41, and Jason Orange, 39, were spotted entering a New York recording studio at the same time as Robbie. He recently had a Take That symbol tattooed on his right wrist. SourceMods, this is confirmation, not speculation that was posted a few days ago, and has not been posted yet. |

Miley Cyrus says, "You're Gay" During her Louisville concert when She sang "7 things", she changed the lyrics from 'You're Game' to 'You're gay'. I personally felt it was disgusting for her to say such a thing. In this day and age I don't think the word 'You're gay' should be used as an insult. You should be ashamed of yourself, Miley! Ashlee Simpson returning to Broadway After a successful run as Roxie Hart on the London stage, Ashlee Simpson may be returning to NYC to star in the Broadway musical Chicago. Broadway spokesperson Jeremy Shaffer said he could not confirm Ash’s return to the stage, but did confirm that Dancing With the Stars’ celeb Cheryl Burke will not be starring as Roxie. This is a role near-and-dear to Ashlee, who surprised many London theatergoers when she took over the role of Roxie for a five-week run in the fall of 2006. Ashlee recently left Melrose Place after her storyline was wrapped up. Perfect-timing for a jaunt on Broadway! As for whether or not she’d be willing to revisit the part of Roxie, Ashlee told OK! last year, “It’s a lot of hard work and it’s a great, fantastic show and I would love to do it again.” Source |
